Ok, I've been blog tagged by one of the cousins...so here are 6 interesting/amusing facts about me.
1. We moved to Guam when I was four--lived there for 3 years while my dad was in the Navy. I went to first grade on the naval base that we lived on. My first grade teacher was Mrs. Cruz...I was one of two caucasian kids in my class. I can still sing "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer" in Guamanian.:)
2. I once slept walked outside when staying at my grandparents house in Alaska. I was seven, and my grandmother was soooo worried that I would get charged by a moose that she stuck all the kitchen chairs in front of the door each night we were there.
3. I have incredibly weak enamel on my teeth, and therefore, out of 32 teeth only 8 of them are completely originals. My mom-- to this day --blames it on the fact that she was soo sick when she was pregnant with me that she couldn't keep enough nutrients down to fully form my teeth...who knows.
4. As a freshman in high school I got whooping cough, yes WHOOPING COUGH. Thought I was going to die--got down to 115 lbs--super nasty skinny and sickly. Yes, I got the vaccine, and yes, I still got it, go figure.
5. I was a pole vaulter in high school. Yes, little ol' me. I actually got to go to state and placed fourth with a whopping vault of 9' 3"!
6. In my college dorm, there was a full kitchen on the second floor...my roommate and I got hungry one night and went to raid the fridge/freezer. We found a brand new, unopened half gallon of vanilla icecream (those of you who know me, know I am a chocoholic so you can imagine how desperate we were for a sugar fix)--not only did we steal it (some poor college student had to wonder who would steal a 1/2 gal of icecream at a Christian college), but we literally ate the whole thing by ourselves in less than 15 minutes. YUCK! And I totally couldn't figure out why I went home 25 lbs heavier that year. Justice I suppose.;)
Now I tag Mandy Smith, Kristi Matthews, Cat Hoyle, Amanda Gabriele, and Stephanie Qualls. Can't wait to read 'em girls!
